In the process of preparing for a survival event or crisis, deadly creatures are near the bottom of most people's list and they should be, but you do need to be aware of the potential danger.

Depending on where you live, that danger is more, or less and in some place, always a possibility, although remote.

The long and the short of it is that in normal situations, insects, reptiles or animals that can kill you are a distant thought because of the remoteness of that scenario as a possibility.

In a survival scenario, however, that equation changes.
