Excellent post, DHS!!! Mechanical longevity. 94% Quieter than powder propelled projectiles.
Lightweight compact ammunition… and a variety of applications.
Highly accurate… plus some models offer adjustable pressure.
No BG check.. no licence.. no registration.
    Many variances: rifle/pistol/revolver
    Many modes of operation: CO2/Break Barrel/Stock Pump/Refill Tank/spring action.
    Several calibers: 22-.177/32/25/357/50
But my favorite aspect is.. you can MAKE your own ammo: cut nails/wire / lead shot / salt or crushed glass.
If you don’t own one… get one.

5000 rounds fit in your pocket and cost 10$, virtually silent, and very accurate. Don’t waste your important ammo on small game! Get a good pellet rifle! Good for everything from small gamebirds to rabbits to even ducks off a pond. With a good suppressed rifle you can pop several ducks before they even know what’s going on

I have a scoped Daisy 1000 that has slain many small critters. The biggest being a raccoon taken with one shot betwixed the eyes. I watched an episode of pigman and he killed a hog with a head shot from a pellet rifle. They definitely have a place.

I have a Gamo .22 pellet rifle. Thing is deadly on squirrel and rabbits. I can carry a ton of ammo and barely weighs a pound. Straps perfectly onto one of my kayak paddle straps. Highly Recommended.

A pump .22 is as effectI’ve as a .22 rimfire. A simple aluminum mold and an old tin can can be used to remake your used pellets.
Now, they are not as noisy as a powder weapon, but they are not silent. If necessary, an effective muffler can be installed, and it won’t burn out as those on a powder weapon will.
I also suggest a slingshot, of the ‘Wrist Rocket ‘ variety. They are quiet, powerful, and can utilize ant sort of stone, marble, or even golf ball. Requires much more practice, but is cheaper.
I found an air rifle, and a .22 long, made by the same company, that stows in the stock. This makes them, as the man calls them, Survival weapons…

    Not in my hands, Dina.
And if I get the dairy to go hog hunting, there is the old trusty .50 Cal sharp, air rifle. It can poke a hole in a 3/4 inch plywood at 100 yards. ( Which is as close as I desire to be around a razorback)

If you surrender your firearms ,you have surrendered,do you think they’ll let you keep anything. Its fine to own a pellet gun but they will in way take the place of the real thing.matter of fact you may want to brush up on your chemictry.
