I dont no about a pine but ceder trees will make you sick i was pulled some out of my pasture with my pickup truck my buddy was hooking chains around the trunk they would spray some kind of gas or odor he got sick i got sick we cut that day short .
If u cook on or.eat anything.pine.related.it should be only.in life.or.desth situation and one must replenish gut probiotics.. stomach cancer is.the alternative … pine turpintine is poison .. it may have some.calories for only dire necessity livations.. dont eat or.cook on pine for more thsn a day or.2

I personally would not eat the bark. I would however use it as a firestarter. Roasted pine nuts actually taste good. Never tried the tea. But in a dire situation and needing nutrition..

You better know your trees! There are many types of pine. Some are toxic. This site is gonna get someone hurt if they aren’t more specific to the type and the region they grow in. And isn’t there a better term than “SHTF”.

I can’t believe they left out the most important 1. A pine needle when dropped into a pool of water will Point North and is a compass. You see the magnesium in the resin that courses through the entire tree becomes magnetized from the Earth’s magnetic field.
Well that’s the problem, sometime. Fitness Guru Jim Fix (spelling may be incorrect,) drops dead of a heart attack while jogging in his 40’s but Keith Richards is in his 70’s shooting heroine through his eyeballs and still making millions touring with the band lol.
