When your goal is to be self-sufficient on a high level, you know this must also include providing protein for the family. The best way to do it? Butchering your own meat!
While this was not exactly a how-to video, we were glad our hostess wanted to document her butchering experience. We have never been involved in such a thing but one day it may become vital. It’s nice to see a homesteader with all the insecurities we will probably have the first time out.
And besides that, we thought her story about how her and her spouse chasing the chicken around was pretty hilarious!
