Feeding yourself in a survival situation can be a difficult process, especially if you don't know enough about the local plants to safely gather them for food. Luckily, you can utilize the ancient art of snaring your game in order to catch food with limited effort. Find out how below.

The first step of snaring is to identify where the game is; you can't just place snares wherever you feel like it and expect to catch anything. Identify tracks, rubs, and game trails, and set up your traps accordingly. Keep in mind the trapping rule: set five traps to catch one fur. This isn't always the case, but it's a good generally accepted fact of trapping. Hopefully, by following these steps, you can start chowing down on some rabbit stew by lunchtime.
