Today we dwell in a society where the normal thing to do is to discard items that we think no longer can be used.
When the item has reached the end of its life, it ends up getting thrown out without a second glance. However, little do many people know that not everything should be thrown away when it has gotten old. In fact, instead of throwing away things, it's possible to re-purpose that item and give it a new function instead.
Consider an old garden hose. Even though it appears to have reached the end of its lifespan because it's tearing and leaking water doesn't mean it won't work well in different ways.
