When the grid goes down, of course, preppers will remember to use the survival skills they have been practicing for years, but they'll also recall random survival hacks. You know, those hacks you watched on YouTube that make you ROFL when you needed a break from practicing with your bow and arrow.

Many are well aware of these hacks — they are the ones that may seem ridiculous, but when SHTF they can be very useful.

When considering all of the tricks and hacks you've learned about on YouTube videos, there's a ton of skills to recall. Who knows — that bright idea that shows you how to get more money while you're at the gas pump (depending on if there's gas available during SHTF) will suddenly be very useful.

Right now you can continue to prep for SHTF by adding to your skillset, and yes, that includes learning more random yet useful hacks.

In some cases, this means adding a few supplies to the preps you already have or recalling a hack that will suddenly get you out of a bind during SHTF.

From saving money at the gas pump to remembering those helpful food hacks, preppers can continue to enhance their skill set by using and applying these life hacks.

On the next page check out some clever and random hacks that could be life-saving during a critical SHTF situation. Plus, stay tuned for a bonus hack that'll teach you how to preserve and stockpile herbs that would otherwise go bad.

Yeah those were completely useless. Men hold ten bags at once and tough it out. That was sad. Had nothing to do with surviving.

There is a spring loaded check valve right AFTER the swivel on the gas nozzle!!! The check valve has been in use since the early 70s! I know, I worked for ARCO as a Maintenance Mechanic. If the check valve wasn’t there, the “Gallons” would FLY up to about .5 or .6 as soon as the dispenser kicked on!
