Why Prepare? One Man’s Compelling Story:

It generally depends on where you live and your lifestyle, but most people do not have much more than a day or two of survival supplies at any given time and generally, their “survival plan” is something they have only thought about.

That is why immediately before a big snowstorm, everyone runs out to buy milk, water, and basic food stuff.

You may be more prepared if you live in a rural area or if you reside in an area with major weather events, but most of your neighbors and maybe even yourself, tend to focus on the immediate and assume the future will take care of itself.

This is the same impulse that leads many to never fill out living wills, save what they need for retirement or plan much more beyond their immediate circumstances.

Check out the next page to see why that is a really bad plan.
