(Video) Without a Fire or a Tent, This Man is Able to Sleep Outside in Sub-Zero Temperatures. How He Does It? Unbelievable!

You may need to bug out and live off the land even in the harsh freezing cold winter. It may be hard to make a fire in these conditions, and a tent may not be available to you.

However, as long as you have a few survival blankets like this guy did in his video from Wilderness Innovation, you can still stay warm and even have a comfortable night of sleep. After you see how he does it, you'll never want to be without your survival blankets again!

This is amazing! This guy made a camp using only three survival blankets folded together on top of each other and crawled in for the night. He monitored the outside temperature which got as low as nine below.

However, the temperature inside the blankets got as high as eighty-one. It was very warm and comfortable even though he was surrounded by the snow outside. If you don't have many supplies and need to stay warm at night when SHTF, you'll want to have some of these blankets with you!

Saw people living under a bridge in 35 below temp. 65 below windchill 20 some years ago with nothing but clothes, and plastic. I was at that same time in a small trailer with gas heat, had to sleep in all my clothes, and shoes, coat blankets over my head because with gas heat the temp was only 10 degrees f inside. It can be done. Sure wasn’t pleasant.

As well you should. It adds to the winter spirit. Then I moved to Oklahoma to enjoy occasionally 80 degree days in January.

He places the tauntaun next to the gas burner all night, and tells it how good it is. As it’s eyes close, the knife slashes, the man cut’s off the gas to save it for another day, climbs inside the tauntaun, and chews on hot succulent meat while shaking his salt shaker on everthing.

Wilderness Innovations makes them. Not inexpensive, but I want to try one.

The key here is to stop all the wind. Wool and good head coverings is key as well.

I walked uphill in the snow both ways, and a school was at both ends. Damnest thing to spend my youth doing.

Tauntauns arent the best shelters in a snowstorm. Their internal temperature is only Lukewarm…

He could have also brought a tarp with him. An 8×10 tarp is not that heavy and is compact.

Here’s an idea…. How about we “evict” one ungrateful, whining, hating America refugee from their cozy Gov’t funded welfare lodgings and give them to this man!
