(Video) When I Heard About This Unbelievable Fire Starter, I Put it in Bug Out Bag Right Away!

boosting-a-fire-start

Every prepper will want to have this when trying to start a fire in bad weather!

Most preppers expect that they will be living off the land when a collapse occurs. This means they will need to know how to build shelter and how to start a fire so they will not only stay warm but have a way to cook their food.

This is when you need several different ways to start a fire available to you. One fire starter may work when it is sunny and dry. However, what about when it is cold, windy, or raining?

In these conditions starting a fire can be difficult and may even seem impossible. That is why when we saw what this guy in the video on the next page used to boost a fire starter, we didn't waste time in stockpiling more of it in our bug out gear.

To see what this guy uses to make a fire burn stronger and last longer during bad weather, please head on over to the next page and watch the incredible video.

    The “secret” is Vaseline.

The video they want you to look at says petroleum jelly-based ointment, but just a simple dab of Vaseline on a cotton ball or tinder will do the trick.

I saw that episode of fat guys in the woods, first thing I did was put some antibiotic ointment in my B.O.B.!

Fuzz up some fatwood and you’re good to go.. Don’t forget you can get endless supplies of pitchwood from the forest around you, year round unlike petroleum jelly.

He put more than just some in the bundle. Look, the tube is almost empty. He almost needed that ointment for his fingers. He just about cut himself. Just carry some “Wetfire”.
