If you're experiencing bad weather, having the proper shelter is the most important thing to have. Without it, you will die of exposure a lot more quickly before you die from illness or starvation.

With that in mind, there are several options as to what type of shelter you should select and build so you'll be prepared when SHTF. A lot of preppers turn to tents as their go-to bug out shelter, especially if they don't have bug out home already set up.

However, tents are not always the best solution because they're portable. They don't have durable and rigid walls and will not stand up to the elements, which is something you need in a long-term shelter.

A man decided to take the concept of portability and sturdiness and combine them into a structure that is designed to meet a prepper's bug out requirements. Take a look at this shelter to decide if you would invest in this type of bug out home after the break.

For ease of break down and relocation zip ties work. For a more permanent structure, silicone and rivets, and a vent up top for exhaust/air flow.

Dont forget to put vent holes in the Gerbil cage! Oh… And by the way… Best shelter for homeless people happens when you stop giving millions to Syrian refuges… And give monies instead to the veterans and other AMERICAN homeless…

Have a way to stake it down, or you might experience what it’s like inside of a clothes dryer.
