(Video) This Man Spent 4 Days Off Grid During the Winter. The Lessons He Teaches Us on His Documentary? Remarkable!

bushcraft camp

Taking on a three night and four day camp out in the middle of the wilderness is one thing. It is breathtaking to settle back, enjoying a crisp fire, listening to the birds, checking out the deer running about only feet in front of you.

But doing so at ten degrees below zero, with snow all about, only you, your tent and a backpack of essentials?

Most people, even the best of survivors, might find the above a little strange. If you are going to enjoy the great outdoors why not do it in better weather? For the challenge of course!

After the break check out the next page and watch a really impressive video, starring a lone survivor who has taken on the trial of a lifetime!

He is not without his luxuries, including tea and beef, but he uses the snow and does everything on a constantly burning fire. It is a must in this weather!

Holy$#%&!@* 4 days! He should really write a book now. He might even teach people how to go camping!

People live off the grid for years, in some parts of the world its called staying alive. 4 days is bugger all.

No$#%&!@* It’s pretty much a joke. Like some college kid goes camping in his back yard for the weekend now he’s ready to write a book about his homeless adventure around the world (his back yard)

“4 Days” (that’s what most folks call camping) And the guy is “Remarkable”? Really starting to rethink this page.

And to think I take off with a knife and a fire starter for two weeks…no food or water..normal for Colorado.

If I didn’t have this stupid job, and wasn’t surrounded by this stupid 21st century. I would be so stupid as to raft from the Tuscarawas River to the Gulf of Mexico, and live off the land every inch of the way. I “can’t” do it, what I am saying.
