In emergency or bug-out situations, you may not have the luxury to find temporary shelter when severe weather passes.
In these situations, you will have to come up with innovative ways to stay safe when the rain gets heavy, the wind gets stronger, and lightening strikes. The last thing you want to do is place yourself in a scary scenario, but sometimes it can't be helped.
It's best to start planning now and coming up with possible solutions before the bad weather strikes because you never know when it will happen before it's too late.
For example, if you're by water it's best to get somewhere else safe, otherwise, something bad could happen.
