(Video) The Most Effective Way to Put Together a 2-Week Emergency Food Supply

post disaster

Keeping food fresh when the SHTF will always be a struggle. This is why so many preppers have chosen to can items and fit their pantries full of non-perishable items, rather than hope the electricity will remain on-going and your fridge in good working order.

This is where items like noodles, canned veggies and spices can be a good thing. As a matter of fact, if you have a backyard this is where those fresh vegetables and fruits will really matter!

By the way, if you are a prepper family with an electric stove, you really may want to change it to gas. Preferably something without an electric starter.

Certainly, you can cook out on the balcony and backyard but that will get old when the storms come in and, during winter, when snow and frost rear its frigid head!

So, what items should you stock? You probably have a few good ideas but the video on the next page makes it easy. Make mental notes or go get a pad of paper and a pencil.

You will want to make notes about what our host has selected and why. Much of it makes great sense. Think about it.

Would you want to go through the apocalypse without something sweet to eat? We wouldn’t either. Check it out after the break!
