This video today comes from The King of Random's Grant Thompson and during the video, he shows us the entire process of starting a fire with just a plastic sandwich bag, water, and bark.
Grant makes the entire process look easy but as he states in the video, it takes some patience to get the fire started.
And if you notice the fire slowly start to die out, all you need is to blow air into the fire to keep the flames burning.

Another lesson learned, and a good one too! Realistically, I would have this as one of my last resorts on a marginal sunlit day but #1 on a very bright, breezy day for the experience it would give. I am going out in another week and I definitely will try this little hack. I will do it as taught but feel that char cloth might come in handy. You can never have too many ways to start a lifesaving fire in your bag of tricks!
