This Survivalist is Only 16-Years-Old and Lives Alone in the Wilderness

wilderness survival

You're never too young to learn how to thrive in the wilderness. Everyone needs to learn how to set up a temporary home, create a comfortable sleeping spot, find food in the wild, and safely start a small fire.

One young man got his start in Survival 101 when he was just a child and now he's applying his skills to live out in the wilderness.

The Guardian reported the story on Zeki Basan, a 16-year-old boy who lives in the Isle of Sky with nothing more than a teepee and sense of adventure. His story starts when he was just a boy traveling around the world with his mom and sister.

His mother was a cookbook writer who studies tribes from around the world. It was Zeki's time spent with these tribes that he learned how to survive out in the wild. It's remarkable that Zeki learned so much at a young age, and what he knows today will blow you away.

Check out the next page to learn more about his incredible story.
