Put That Unused Lawn to Good Use and Build a Raised Garden Bed

Just about every survivalist that has any space grows some of their own food.

But all too often, they restrict themselves if they live in a suburban or urban area by utilizing their “open space” poorly.

If you have any type of backyard (front yards often have a lot of municipal rules about what you can grow and how it must look), you have room to grow a garden – even if you do not want to turn up the soil that is there.

We highlight on the next page some of the issues you need to consider if you are planning on using the raised bed container method of gardening.
