If Preppers Aren’t Doing THIS Yearly, They Won’t be Disaster Ready

Many a prepper likes the idea of loading up their bug-out bag, knowing it is filled to the brim with supplies that will save the life of themselves and their families should a bug-out ever be necessary. However, often these same survivors will forget about their bags, tossing them into a corner of a closet, feeling they really do not need to look at them again unless an alert is raised.

Nothing can be further from the truth. A prepper should most definitely look into their bug-out bag at least twice a year, take inventory, check for broken items like a tent pole that might have bent or splintered during the Winter. Look at your food and water, being sure there are no punctures or contaminants. And is all your fishing gear packed where it's supposed to be?

In other words, our preparedness will take us only so far. If we do not keep a watch on our things, remain vigilant, who knows what could happen?

Take a look – you might be surprised!
