Dead Wrong: 13 Survival Myths That Can Kill a Person

mountain-man-in-snow-storm

About the only survival topics more persistent than wild “what I would do” supposition about Zombie Apocalypses are myths regarding actual survival in scenarios that actually can happen.

Many of these myths are decades old and were initiated in Hollywood by guys whose idea of “survival” was having to stay in a three-star hotel and whose concept of bushcraft was having to sip Martini's made of non-top-shelf vodka.

They were not malicious, they wanted a good story line and were blindly ignorant when it came to making it in any sort of a survival situation.

So they made stuff up.

Other myths are passed on from generation to generation and still, others come from current day actors looking to juice up an otherwise mundane survival scenario.

Unfortunately, while some will merely frustrate, some of these myths can kill you or make you very sick.

Check out the next page to survival myths that could kill you.
