A perfect world scenario is one where a survival incident occurs, everyone gets along, pitches in and gets through it as a unified force of optimism, perseverance, innovation, and harmony.

In the real world, some do that, to be sure, but many resort to their basest instincts and view every survivor as a target and every encounter as something to exploit.

That includes using deadly force to get what they want.

Given that reality, you must be able to defend yourself and your loved ones and if you do not have your preferred weapon at hand, or any weapon, that means you have to use your wits and bare hands.

While you should avoid a situation like that at all costs, sometimes it is unavoidable and in that scenario, you have to know what to target on your attacker to neutralize them.
