“Toasty” is a relative term. As long as our feet are dry and not cold during the winter months we think we are doing really well. We are not a lumberjack but we do have a dog.

Walking the “ever peeing beast” three to four times a day in the rain and snow can prove a challenge on shoes and socks – and our patience.

    Cotton is the enemy of warmth. Found out the hard way in Feb. in the Swan Valley of Montana. First day off, I headed to the army surplus in Kalispell and bought nearly every pair of wool socks they had along with polypropylene long underwear and rain pants. Loggers are for real!
