5 Reasons to Continue Prepping Even Though We Have a New President

Despite what many survivalists will say, these are politically unstable times.

Most of us have become preppers and survivalist because we, one day, expect a SHTF scenario in any form to happen. The possibility has motivated us to create bug-out bags, find alternate shelter, or to bug-in with years’ worth of food and supplies.

Despite the current political unrest with our new President, the marching in the streets, the name-calling, even vicious verbal attacks on his family, many will tell you President Trump has everything well in hand and we are safer now than ever before.

However, some may not be so sure and the idea of relaxing their prepping lifestyle, despite his no-nonsense manner, keeps them vigilant.

After the break, go over to the next page and read five reasons to continue prepping even though we now have a new and more universally feared President currently at the helm!

lol…we are paying…sometimes i think there’s a big bright neon sign on our border. border control is important for us as it is for any country. if someone wants something bad enough…they will risk it all. but….i tend to like the idea of knocking on the front door over sneaking in. in this great country…the need of many is being ignored. especially the veterans….elderly…poor. i’m for border control….take care of some$#%&!@*here first….then maybe we could help others better and with better results.

I don’t even know exactly what to write. I never thought I’d find myself having to deal with the trauma triggers that this Orange man brings up in me, because I never thought such a horrifying type of person could become president of America. This freak is very much like my father, a person I completely wrote out of my life years ago, because he was such a scary human being. He has been diagnosed as having antisocial personality disorder, narcissistic personality disorder, and sadism– which are 3 main characteristics of malignant narcissism. I can tell you for sure that no one with that diagnosis should be in a place of power, but due to their illness, power is the thing they strive for most (next to sheer approval) because to them, power equals approval, no matter the horrible things they do or the people they hurt in gaining that power. Power means “I am right, and I am entitled.” People are collectibles that either approve of you and shut up or aren’t worthy of breathing. Dissent isn’t tolerated. Every move they make is for personal gain, and they do not care about even those closest to them (they lack empathy). I know this type of person very well. Even Trump’s most deranged supporters don’t know how far he will go if he feels threatened, and a person like this always feels threatened; it’s the nature of the illness. If only there were any checks and balances here, but with a Red House and Senate and a bunch of fiendish white supremacists in his Cabinet, this nation is truly fucked.

Maybe what’s craziest about this kind of person is that they think they’re a good person. That’s because their horrible deeds don’t register as horrible. In fact, they don’t blink any eye doing what they do; they may even ask for compassion from their victim. Like for instance (this isn’t made up), they might kick the$#%&!@*out of you until they break your ribs, then show you the bruises on their shins and want you to feel bad that they’re bruised, and get mad at you if u won’t give them the compassionate attention they’re looking for. You might have wondered how Trump can say bullshit on tv about what a great guy he is– he’s not bullshitting. He truly does think that he’s a great guy. He doesn’t know that he isn’t. Now isn’t that even scarier? Yes, this degree of this illness is definitely considered delusional. (Yes, our president is delusional.)
